Payment Operations Specialist at Adecco USA

We are seeking detail-oriented, self-reliant team players for payment processing positions in our Payment Operations department. Working in this high-speed environment, you will need to meet production and quality standards, so accuracy and attention to detail are imperative.

Location: Valley Cottage, NY (on-site)

Monday – Friday 9 AM – 5:30 PM or 12 PM – 8:30 PM

Pay Rate: $18 / hr.

As a Payment Operations Specialist, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
 

• Preparing batches of work by extracting checks and remittances from envelopes.

• Operating Imaging/Extraction equipment (OPEX 50/51/60, OPEX 7200, OPEX 150).

• Inputting data into the system while following standard operating procedures and customer specific instructions for processing.

• Verifying negotiability of checks through customer specific instructions for processing.

• Analyze all transactions to ensure payments are properly processed.

• Re-associating check images to corresponding material while validating quality of images.

• Maintaining site productivity and quality standards.

• Occasionally lifting and moving mail trays.

• Contributing to meeting team goals in addition to individual responsibilities.

• Flexibility and willingness to cross-train and learn all job functions in operations.

• Recommending procedural and workflow changes to enhance quality and productivity.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
