Payment Poster ll - Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic

Full-Time Position - Edwards Mill Office. Payment Specialist ll position is responsible for posting insurance payments and adjustments via electronic remit and manual posting. Daily and month end balancing is required.

Requires at least three to four years of insurance, adjustment posting and computer experience in a physician practice. This position requires ability to identify and accurately post insurance denials for Account Receivable Staff to research. Excellent organizational and time management skills are required to process a high volume of payments. Knowledge and understanding of insurance EOBs. Ability to post payments to patient accounts for commercial, personal and government payers via electronic remits and paper EOB's. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include overtime and weekends as needed to close month end.

Must reside within State of North Carolina and live within traveling distance of Raleigh/Research Triangle area. Must be able to work in a cooperative manner and maintain effective working relationships with management/supervisors, co-workers and vendors.
