Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist - Maine Wing Management LLC

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for processing payroll, managing payroll import/export files, performing accounts payable tasks, and handling various data entry and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

Accurately process payroll on a regular basis.
Manage payroll import/export files to ensure data integrity.
Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.Accounts Payable:

Accounts Payable:
Assign General Ledger (GL) codes to expenses to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Process invoices, ensuring they are correctly coded, authorized, and entered into the system.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist in month-end closing.

Data Entry and Administration:
Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Support various administrative functions including filing, report generation, and document management.
Assist with other clerical duties as needed to support the finance department.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in payroll processing and accounts payable functions.

Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Proficiency in Google Workplace, particularly DRIVE.

Experience with ADP payroll software and accounting systems.
