Payroll Analyst at United Staffing Solutions

United Staffing, a leading staffing agency, is looking to hire a Payroll Analyst for our client, a prestigious Racetrack in Jamaica, Queens. They renowned for managing some of the most prestigious horse racing events in the United States. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, handling payroll for a dynamic workforce.

Position Summary:
As a Payroll Analyst , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll. You will be responsible for handling payroll compliance, resolving payroll discrepancies, and preparing reports. This position requires a strong understanding of payroll systems, multi-state payroll experience, and excellent communication skills.

Pay: $75-82k/yr DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees.
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, benefits, tax withholdings, and deductions.
• Process payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, and status updates.
• Verify timecards, compute overtime, and maintain records for payroll audits.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.
• Address and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll discrepancies and adjustments.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure data accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.
• Assist in preparing year-end payroll reports, including W-2 forms.
