Overview of the Payroll Processor role:
- Review and verify employee time punches, address missing entries and discrepancies in timekeeping
- Enter hours worked into the payroll system
- Accurate apply deductions, such as taxes, insurance premiums, retirement contributions, and other benefits
- Double-check and cross-verify data entries to ensure accuracy
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all payroll-related information and ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations
Preferred Qualifications for the Payroll Processor Role:
- Prior experience with data entry or payroll processing
- Proficiency in Excel is a must
- Very strong attention to detail, accurate data entry skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
