Part-Time Payroll Processor
We’re seeking a reliable Part-Time Payroll Processor to manage our non-profit client's payroll operations. This person is the sole payroll processor working closely with both HR and Finance. This is a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday schedule, fully onsite in Shelton, CT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly and weekly payroll for staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all federal, state, and organizational policies.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including timekeeping data, deductions, and benefits.
- Handle payroll-related inquiries from staff in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure proper employee classification and payroll setup.
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with year-end payroll tasks (W-2s, tax filings).
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably in a non-profit or healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with payroll software and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
