The Payroll team is growing! We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to work on-site in our Tempe off, Monday through Friday, to process bi-weekly payrolls, garnishments, expense reimbursements, and off-cycle payrolls in UKG-Pro. In addition to a great personality, the ideal person will be detail-oriented, efficient, and a self-starter.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for processing payrolls timely and accurately for various companies in multiple states
- Review payroll data, including timesheets, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
- Balance all earnings and deductions prior to finalizing the payroll
- Provide superior customer service to employees regarding payroll inquires and issue resolution in a timely manner
- Respond to and manage wage garnishments
- Generate post-payroll reports for Accounting team
- Performs all other assigned duties
- UKG-Pro experience
- Minimum 2 years of full cycle payroll processing experience
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup)
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, reliable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize and operate efficiently under continuous change
- Communicates well both verbally and in writing with team members of all levels across the organization
- Maintain confidentiality and navigate sensitive situations
- Problem solve and make sound decisions
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
