About the Job
- AHA certifications required, RQI and AHA instructor cards acceptable
- Certificates expiring within a month of start need renewal confirmation
- Confirmation of name change process with licensing board and certification center required if applicable
Certification Details
- Registered Nurse specializing in Per Diem - Cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred.
- Competent to care for CT patients with various cardiac conditions and procedures, such as ASD, VSD, AV Canal Defect, Valve replacements, Glenn and Fontan procedures, TOF, post-cardiac cath and ablations.
- Experience with Medtronic pacemakers and Tele monitoring.
- Familiarity with standard PICU equipment.
- A-line experience is advantageous.
Job Details
- 1.5+ Years of relevant experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Experience with Medtronic pacemakers and Tele monitoring preferred
- A-line experience preferred
- 2 references required prior to submission
Job Requirements
- 12-hour shifts, 0700-1930, 1900-0730
- 1-day computer training at home, 2nd day on-unit orientation at 7 am
- Must park in visitors lot for unit orientation

- Facility does not care about a space in the name on the driver's license
- Names on documentation like driver's license need to be legally accurate, match RN license, and be included in background checks
- Security stationed next to parking garage entrance for safety
- Orientation includes computer training and on-unit orientation
