Summary:
Heart & Soil is seeking an experienced and results-driven Performance Marketing Associate to join our Marketing Team. This role is pivotal in strategizing, negotiating, and purchasing media space to enhance our brand visibility and drive customer acquisition. Your expertise in optimizing advertising spend across various channels will ensure the highest ROI, contributing significantly to our mission of promoting radical health and vitality and driving new customer acquisition.

Who Are You?
You are a sharp performance marketer with media buying experience and expertise in the direct-to-consumer e-commerce landscape. Your strategic mindset, coupled with an exceptional ability to negotiate and scale paid social media accounts, positions you as a pivotal asset in driving brand presence and accelerating customer acquisition. Excelling in planning and executing media buys, you possess a deep understanding of the nuances of DTC marketing and the dynamics of social platforms. With your analytical prowess, you meticulously assess campaign performance, leveraging data to pivot strategies effectively and ensuring the advertising budget is optimized for maximum ROI and sustainable growth. Your adeptness in navigating the fast-paced digital ecosystem enables you to adapt quickly, harnessing innovative approaches to meet evolving market demands and achieve significant scale.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive media buying strategy across digital and traditional platforms (Meta, Google, etc.)
- Actively work within our internal Growth Map, including managing budgets, creative concepts, projections and more
- Work with management to prepare and manage the media buying budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Work with internal creative team and external marketing agency to develop and test successful concepts for paid media campaigns
- Negotiate to secure advantageous advertising rates and placements
- Monitor media buys to ensure they are executed according to plan and adjust strategies based on performance data
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align media buying strategies with overall marketing goals and campaigns
- Analyze campaign results, providing insights and recommendations to maximize ROI
- Stay up-to-date with media trends, audience preferences, and advancements in digital advertising technologies
- Manage relationships with media vendors and partners, ensuring collaborative success
- Conduct unit economic and data analysis for campaign building
- Create and test landing pages for enhanced CRO
- Perform monthly Ad Account performance analysis with regular KPI check-ins.
- Discover and scope new advertising platforms & channels
- Work with our Affiliate Manager to launch creative advertising opportunities with partners/influencers
- Manage marketing attribution by launching and managing new tools.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, or equivalent experience
- Business acumen & experience developing & deploying marketing strategies
- Experience running Meta ads campaigns for an ecommerce brand, preferably in the health & nutrition space
- Experience working within a larger Marketing team & creating strategies that align with marketing goals
- Deep interest in health, nutrition, and the mission of Heart & Soil
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Outstanding relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Ability to moderate and mediate discussions effectively
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas
- Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines
