Work Schedule: 10 Hr (7:00:00 AM - 5:30:00 PM)
Summary:
This position is responsible for the day-to-day activities and requirements of the Rush Corporate Compliance Program for Rush and its Affiliates with a focus on Rush Health. This position assures the development of the seven (7) elements of an OIG/HHS effective Compliance program and the on-going management of the program. Assists the AVP, Compliance in investigations and regulatory research as well as major Compliance projects. Develops tools to periodically assess compliance effectiveness at Rush Health. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Develops and maintains a robust corporate compliance program for Rush Health and its clinically integrated network that mirrors the 7 elements of an effective corporate compliance program.
• Manages and supports Rush Health’s compliance with fraud, waste and abuse laws and regulations for Rush Health personnel and Rush Health participating providers.
• Responds to all hotline calls relevant to Rush Health business operations.
• Develops the annual Rush Health compliance work plan, which reflects highest-priority compliance risks.
• Investigates all compliance concerns and coordinates follow up with a corrective action plan as needed.
• Identifies regulatory changes and updates and incorporates into existing policies and/or workflows.
• Coordinates with AVP, Corporate Compliance and legal staff regarding the creation and revision of applicable Compliance policies.
• Develops compliance training modules relevant to contracting organizations and the needs of staff.
• Tracks and resolves program issues or concerns brought by employers, payers or members.
• Performs regulatory research and analysis as required to ensure compliance with business plans and payer relations.
• Creates presentations and written summary reports to inform a wide array of professionals about the programs, including physicians, nursing staff, and administration.
• Oversees annual and monthly sanction check process with Rush vendor. Develops protocols for conducting the process and assure the quality of data.
• Supports the Corporate Compliance Office in regulatory compliance investigations and projects.
• Assists with other Compliance related duties for Rush and its affiliates.
• Serves on councils, committees, working groups, and other bodies representing Rush Health and the Compliance Office.
• Perform related duties as required.

Required Job Qualifications:
• Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound Program.
• Active OB/GYN RDMS certification or ability to earn credential within 90 days of first date of employment.
• Certification in Fetal Echo preferred.
• Knowledge of human anatomy, pathology and physiology.
• Demonstrates good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Requires full range body motion including handling and lifting patients when necessary. Perform diagnostic ultrasounds on a portable basis when necessary.
• Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.

• Active Nuchal Translucency certification or ability to earn within 60 days
• Active CLEAR cervical length certification or ability to earn within 60 days
• LEVEL 2• • Maintains requirements of Level 1
• Performs exams independently per department protocol
• Proficiency in procedures as determined by sonography supervisor, through observation or simulation

• Level 3• • Maintains requirements of Level 1 and Level 2
• Leads members of sonography team on a day to day basis at the request of the sonography supervisor
• Provides support to sonography supervisor for staff scheduling, clinic workflow, etc
