Perfect attendance and minimum grade standards are mandatory. Upon class completion, new graduates must be able to work a full-time schedule with every other weekend.

Positions Summary:

Assists the Certified Nursing Assistant by assisting with non-clinical items. The Personal Care Assistant does not provide clinical care to residents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Fill Water Pitchers
• Pass out trays at mealtimes
• Return carts to dietary department at mealtimes
• Assists with diversional activities
• Clean diet kitchen including refrigerator
• Straighten utility rooms
• Clean oxygen concentrators, feeding pumps, IV poles as needed
• Straighten closets, bedside tables as needed
• Move resident items when room changes made
• Clean wheelchairs as needed
• Set up trays for residents who feed themselves
• Answer call lights and relay messages to Charge Nurse/CNA as appropriate
• Make beds
