Key Responsibilities
- Trial Preparation: Conduct thorough trial preparation, including the development of case strategies, witness preparation, and drafting of trial materials.
- Discovery: Manage all aspects of the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, conducting depositions, and analyzing discovery responses.
- Medical Records Review: Review and analyze medical records to support case development and strategy.
- Depositions: Take and defend depositions, ensuring that all necessary information is obtained and properly documented.
- Trial Participation: Actively participate in trials, including presenting evidence, examining witnesses, and delivering arguments.
- Legal Research and Writing: Conduct legal research and draft various legal documents, including motions, briefs, and memoranda.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Bar Admission: Must be a member in good standing of the state bar.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of trial experience, including trial preparation, discovery, and participation in trials.
