Personal Injury Paralegal- Galleria AreaA fast paced plaintiff personal injury firm located in the Galleria area of Houston is seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal to join their firm. This firm offers full benefits and paid parking. Candidates must have 5+ years of recent experience working on catastrophic injury cases. 

Duties include:

• Accurately Draft Petitions, Answers, Discovery, Motions, Demands, and other legal documents, as needed
• Coordinate with Attorney and work independently toward case development
• Schedule and calendar all meetings, hearings, depositions, and mediations
• E-File appropriate documents with the court and E-Serve all necessary parties
• Coordinate with vendors to meet all case deadlines
• Continually communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, experts, and mediators
• Audit cases for all expenses (medical bills, case expenses, LOP providers, subro liens)
• Accurately maintain case management data in Needles Neos Software
• Prepare trial documents and assist Attorney with trial preparation
• Assist Attorney with developing cases for trial
• Supervise staff for naming/filing all litigation documents and maintaining file completeness and accuracy
• Ensure reliable and consistent updates are given to attorney on each file
• Give your attorney reminders for tasks and deadlines coming up
• Handle the phone to help with calls coming in
