Pharmacist, Inpatient - Witham Health Services

Dispenses medications for patients upon receipt of a medication order. Provides drug information to the medical and nursing staff upon request. Ensures appropriate pharmaceutical care is administered to patients of the hospital. Maintains and coordinates systems to ensure that pharmacy operations run efficiently on a day-to-day basis. Supervises technical and clerical pharmacy personnel involved in pharmacy operations. Assists in the implementation of quality control measures in order to identify and rectify problems. Performs duties of technical or clerical personnel as required.

• Graduate of a College or School of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Maintains licensure in good standing as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Indiana.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
