Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and licensed Pharmacist to join our team in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, mail-order services, and experience working in standalone pharmacies. As a pharmacist, you will provide high-quality care to patients by accurately dispensing medications, offering clinical advice, and managing patient consultations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify prescriptions, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide clinical services, including immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and point-of-care testing (POCT).
• Counsel patients on the safe and effective use of their medications, including potential side effects and interactions.
• Manage prescription billing, including coordinating with insurance companies and resolving claim issues.
• Support mail-order prescription services to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure accurate documentation of controlled substances.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff to enhance patient care.
• Address customer queries and resolve any concerns related to prescriptions and pharmacy services.

Patient Care & Team Collaboration:

• Offer consultations on medications, over-the-counter solutions, and alternative therapies based on patient needs.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure high levels of accuracy and service.
• Participate in company training, regulatory updates, and certification programs to stay current with industry practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacy License in California.
• 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in standalone pharmacies.
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
• Experience in prescription billing and handling insurance claims.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mail-order pharmacy services.
• Familiarity with pharmacy management software.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
