Pharmacy Supervisor (Harrisburg, PA)
We are looking for two supervisors to join our team.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Pharmacy Supervisor will guide day-to-day operations of the pharmacy. The supervisor will be responsible for a group of Pharmacy Technicians; reviewing and monitoring performance to optimize outputs, ensuring we are working towards a common goal, remaining productive and avoiding conflict. The supervisor will work on, or direct projects of Pharmacy Technicians as assigned by the Pharmacy Operations Manager.
This position is a full-time on-site role based at our Pharmacy Warehouse in Harrisburg, PA. This position requires 40 hours per week, typically Monday-Friday shift from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm EST.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Being responsible for day-to-day operations of pharmacy. This includes: positioning team members to ensure steady output, taking corrective actions to resolve employee disputes and productivity issues, and ensuring team members execute assigned tasks
Assisting other technicians with workflow dynamics and daily order dispensing, in accordance with pharmacy policies and procedures
Working closely with pharmacy leads to ensure team unity
Developing team talent; create and implement written plans for optimizing team member performance
Assist Pharmacy Operations Manager with leading, coaching, mentoring, motivating and retaining staff
Expected to spend 50% of time participating in pharmacy workflow duties (subject to change based on the needs of the department)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise Pharmacy Technicians, Leads, and Shipping Clerks
Ongoing training and coaching of Pharmacy Technicians, Leads, and Shipping Clerks
Assist manager to coach, develop, motivate, counsel, and discipline employees
Consult on employee performance reviews, including recommending salary actions and promotions consistent with company guidelines
WHAT YOU BRING
Team building skills: should be positive, respectful, and dependable
Pharmacy operations skills: should be accurate, efficient, and detail oriented when dispensing
Problem solving skills: should be adaptable, thorough, innovative and well versed in all aspects of pharmacy workflow
Must adhere to policies and procedures, be accountable, and be committed to continuous quality improvement
Exhibit willingness to consistently take on new challenges
Be results driven, proactive and able to work autonomously
Be able to make good judgment decisions, and know when to ask manager for assistance
Ability to lead team toward organizational goals with successful outcomes and conflict resolution skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen effectively and communicate information in a clear, calm and concise manner. Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback in a professional manner
GED, High School Diploma or equivalent
Associates Degree or equivalent experience, preferred
Previous experience in a leadership role (manager, supervisor, etc.), preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS
Ability to stand and work at a computer for long periods of time
Ability to tolerate an environment where dogs could be present in the office areas of the business

Pay range (US based applicants): $53,000—$65,000 / annualized
Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, certifications, relevant education and training, while also considering internal equity.
