Over the last 30 years, this Oncology Clinic, with 13 Clinics in the Los Angeles area, specializing in Clinical Research/Trials, is searching for a Pharmacy Technician with Admixture experience to join their team.
The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for reviewing physician orders, selecting, and aseptically preparing parenteral admixtures (including chemotherapy and immunotherapy), and managing inventory of medications and supplies.
Pay Rate Range: $26/hr-$30/hr
Shift: M-F - 8AM-5PM
Location: Van Nuys, CA
Job Duties for Pharmacy Technician Admixture:
- 1+ years of Admixture pharmacy technician experience.
- Oncology/Hematology experience is required
- Knowledge of hazardous and/or non-hazardous sterile compounding is preferred
- Knowledge of labeling, calculating, and preparing each Admixture calculation
- USP 797 and 800 knowledge
- State of California Certificate and PTCB is required
