Pharmacy Technician Compensation

• The pay for this position is $ 20.00 per hour.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

Pharmacy Technician Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
• The required availability for this position is Must be able to work rotating shifts 8-4pm, 11:30am-9pm and 1:30pm - 11pm.
• Will work rotating shifts including Morning, Mid-Day and Evening. And every other weekend.

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

• Looking for dependable, productive, professional personal with strong sense of urgency and someone who is able to work any shift assigned during our operating hours.
• Please advise they may need to stay past their shift if there is work to be done.
• This is a high productivity role that requires standing during the entirety of your shift.
• Fills prescription items, as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy, packaging medications for dispensing and for delivery, meeting the accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy.
• Labels products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels.
• Participates in the periodic inventory of the pharmacy.
• May check in drugs and supplies, stock shelves and remove out-of-date items from the inventory.
• Prepares medications including emulsions, liquids, powders, and ointments, which may include non-sterile compounding.
• Communicates with internal and external customers in a pleasant and professional manner.
• May process returned medications from the facility for credit or destruction.
• Assists in the training of new employees.

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician License
• A nationally certified PTCB technician is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.
