PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Pharmacy Technician will support the implementation and maintenance of medication value-based care initiatives. This role involves coordinating medication management activities, ensuring compliance with value-based care protocols, and assisting with data collection and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking in regards to pharmacology, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to improving patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a value-based care or medication management setting.
- Community pharmacy or insurance company experience is strongly preferred.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
- Current Florida pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) preferred, but not required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medications, and medical terminology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using healthcare software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to improving patient care.
- Familiarity with value-based care principles and healthcare regulations.
