About the Job
Required Qualifications
- be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- be able to:
- utilize pallet jack to transport inventory and supplies
- successfully complete a Criminal Background Check (CBC) and drug test
- not have a positive Publix drug test result within the previous 3 years
- communication skills
- decision-making skills
- organizational and time management skills
- problem-solving skills
- interpersonal skills
- ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
- ability to stand for several hours, basic physical abilities
- ability to lift, carry and stack product weighing up to 50 pounds
- assist in all other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- knowledge of retail pharmacy software, retail technology, or warehouse technology
- current (Pharmacy Warehouse) Distribution associate
- ability to operate a forklift
- knowledge of retail pharmacy laws, rules, and operating policies and procedures
- intermediate skill level in Symphony processing system
