Duration: 4+ months with full possibility of extension
Shift: Mon-Fri hours range from 6:00am-7:00pm, rotational Saturdays (approx. every 3-4 weeks) 7:00a-12:00p

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Preferred: Medical Assistant or Paramedic training
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
Job Responsibilities:
- Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing
- Follow established practices and procedures for specimen collection and processing
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Verify patient demographic information and ensure correct labeling of tubes
- Create a trustful environment by explaining procedures and demonstrating skillful, safe, and accurate blood draws
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors and a commitment to process excellence and patient confidentiality
- Perform tasks with minimal supervision and handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting
Job Requirements:
- Ability to deliver quality, errorfree work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and able to work based on staffing needs, including potential travel to various locations
- Ability to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment
- Superior customer focus and ability to communicate openly and transparently with patients and team members
Work Experience:
- Three years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- Minimum of two years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
- Experience in customer service within a retail or service environment preferred
- Keyboard/data entry experience is a plus
