Description of role:
We are looking for talented individuals with outstanding customer service experience to join our team of Donor Care Specialist (phlebotomists) in a float position. As a Donor Care Specialist, you'll play a vital role in all aspects of blood collections and donor screenings, while providing a safe and pleasant experience for our volunteer donors at our mobile blood drives or fixed sites across the Rock River Valley region.
No previous phlebotomy experience is needed. We offer a unique opportunity to gain phlebotomy experience from a dedicated, professional, and caring team. We can provide on-the-job training to motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow with us.

Skills and Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma/GED required
- CNA and clinical and/or blood collection experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Enjoy working with the public
Work Schedule:
Full time (30 plus hours per week). This position will be regularly scheduled Monday - Thursday and alternating Friday/Saturday rotation. Upon request, plan to travel to any site or mobile location throughout the work week based on staffing needs and demands.
Salary:
Hourly wage for this position begins at $16.50/hr and includes an additional $1.50/hr float differential.
- Bilingual is a plus and offers a pay increase after completion of training.
- Additional hourly stipends for working mobile blood drives, evening and weekend hours.
