Job Overview - Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician:
Join our client's team as a Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician. This role is based in Brooklyn, NY, and involves traveling to two locations. The position focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with traumatic injuries and pain management. You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide essential medical services to the community.

Locations: Brooklyn, NY
Compensation: $300,000 - $350,000/year
Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities as the Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician:

• Diagnose and treat pain from injuries, illnesses, or medical conditions.
• Conduct thorough examinations for accurate diagnoses.
• Develop and implement tailored rehabilitation or treatment plans.
• Document patient evaluations, treatments, and medications.
• Prescribe medications for pain management and recovery.
• Provide patient education on exercise, nutrition, and health behaviors.
• Administer pain-relief injections.
• Consult with other medical professionals to optimize treatment.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.

Qualifications for the Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in PM&R.
• Medical Degree from an accredited university.
• Valid New York Medical License.
• Previous clinical experience in PM&R preferred.
• Experience with work and motor vehicle-related injuries preferred.
• Workers Compensation Authorized.
• Licensed Acupuncturist.
• Knowledge of No Fault and Worker Compensation Laws and Regulations.
