Physical Therapist Assistant Home Health - MFS Talent

• Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
  
• Work location: Onsite; Santa Rosa, CA 
• Compensation: $40 to $49 per hour

• Implement the physical therapy treatment plan designed by the supervising PT.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises, stretches, and activities to improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion.
• Use various therapeutic techniques and modalities, such as heat/cold therapy, massage, ultrasound, or electrical stimulation, to promote healing and relieve pain.
• Observe and document the patient's responses to treatments and exercises, noting any changes in their condition.
• Report progress or concerns to the supervising PT, providing detailed feedback to help adjust the treatment plan if necessary.
• Record patient information, treatments provided, and progress using appropriate documentation systems.
• Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities that support their recovery, both in therapy sessions and at home.
• Teach patients how to use mobility aids such as crutches, canes, walkers, or wheelchairs.

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience

•  At least 1 year relevant experience.
  

Licenses and Certifications

• National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
