*Job Overview*
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting physical therapists in providing treatment to patients. You will work in various settings such as hospitals, clinics, or rehabilitation centers to help individuals recover from injuries and improve their overall mobility and quality of life. We are an outpatient PT clinic that specializes un Aquatic Therapy. We utilize the gym and do in room therapy for land. We are in-house therapy at the Goldton of Venice and we service the outside community there as well
*Duties*
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor and report patient progress to the supervising physical therapist
- Provide hands-on therapy such as massage and stretching
- Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and self-care techniques
*Requirements*
- Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Knowledge of orthopedics, trigger point therapy, and acute care
- Experience working in hospital or clinic settings
- Strong patient care skills and compassion
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with occupational health practices
Pay: $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
