About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Assist the physical therapist in providing treatment to patients with various musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities under the guidance of the physical therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions.
- Instruct patients on proper techniques for performing exercises and activities.
- Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a physical therapist assistant.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
