Loyal Source is actively seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to place into a 13-week assignment in Waverly, VA.
Job Duties
Under the supervision of the physical therapist, the PTA provides for patient needs, modalities, therapeutic exercises, rehabilitative therapy, and the use of orthopedic/adaptive equipment.
Assignments to other duties or locations may be necessary to meet the clinical and administrative needs of the Department.
This is a wage position limited to working no more than 1,500 hours per agency during the 12 month period of May 1 – April 30, regardless of the hire date. The wage employment period resets on May 1 of the following year. All wage employees are limited to working no more than 29 hours per week on average over the 12-month period. This wage position offers no state benefits.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy assistant program. Current physical therapy assistant licensed in the state of Virginia
- Additional Considerations
- Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic Physical Therapy Department
Compensation
$29 - $36 – Based on Experience
