Job Title: Physical Therapist - Inpatient

Location: Waco, Texas

Shift: 12 HR Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Shifts Per Week: 3 (36 scheduled hours)

Hourly Rate: $32 - $53

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a full-time position in Waco, Texas. You will evaluate, treat, and monitor patients while working in collaboration with the medical care team. Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized therapy programs and goals.
• Monitor and modify therapy programs as necessary to ensure progress.
• Perform thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner.
• Accurately enter charges and maintain knowledge of reimbursement practices.
• Provide education to patients, families, and staff on therapeutic processes and goals.
• Supervise ancillary staff, students, and volunteers in the department.
• Continuously develop clinical skills through ongoing education and evidence-based practice.
• Ensure compliance with organizational, national, and state regulatory guidelines.
• Align personal goals with system-wide objectives to improve healthcare delivery.

Qualifications:

• Education: Masters degree or Bachelors degree with 2 years of work experience above the minimum requirement.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of experience is acceptable.
• Licensure: Physical Therapist (PT) license required.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
