Physical Therapist (PT) - Full Time, Per Diem or 1099 Contractor (Open to Contractual Employment)

South Campus Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in a full-time, in-house position within our subacute rehabilitation unit. In this essential role, you will provide high-quality rehabilitation services to residents, helping them regain mobility, strength, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess residents' physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each resident’s specific goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, exercises, and modalities to enhance residents' strength, mobility, and functional capabilities.
• Patient Education: Educate residents and their families on rehabilitation processes, home exercises, and strategies for injury prevention.
• Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and physicians, to provide holistic and coordinated care.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Experience: Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and working as part of a team.
