We are currently accepting applications for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Columbine Poudre Home Care.

Compensation

· Starting wage $31.00 - 36.00 depending on experience

Responsibilities

· You work in a highly collaborative environment, coordinating your care with other skilled clinicians and community resources.

· You provide skilled nursing care and high-quality education that clients and their caregivers need to stay safe and to progress to their provider-approved goals.

· Expect variety! PTAs in our agency provide skilled physical therapy services to clients in their homes (including some ILF, ALF) under the direction of the physical therapist.

· You instruct clients and/or family members in a home program.

· You are an integral part of the home care team, providing direct communication with clients, family and other team members regarding client status, and valued input RE: changes or modifications in the care plan.

· We offer a full orientation and preceptor program to new staff: you won't be sent to a challenging case without the training you need to succeed.

Qualifications

· Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.

· Current Colorado Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility (when applicable).

· Prefer at least six months experience in geriatrics or long-term care, but not required.

· Excellent communication skills.

Work Schedule

· PRN (as needed)

· 8:00am - 4:30pm

· Monday through Friday (Flexible)

· Optional Saturday hours available
