The Opportunity

• Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
• ED/UCC experience preferred.
• New grads with strong emergency or paramedic/EMT experience will be considered.
• Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required.
• Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.
• Current CA state license is a plus.

The Practice

St. Mary Medical Center - Long Beach, California

• St. Mary Medical Center is a part of Dignity Health system. The hospital has served Long Beach for close to 100 years as a nonprofit, faith-based hospital.
• 165-bed non-profit hospital with an annual ED volume of 58,000.
• 24/7 Emergency Department, Level II Trauma Center, and STEMI Heart Attack Center.
• ED has 20 monitored beds and 5 RME rooms with plans to expand to 8 additional fast track beds.
