Physician Assistant - Orthopedic Oncology - GHR Healthcare

GHR Healthcare is seeking a Surgical Oncology Physician Assistant in San Francisco CA

Contract Length: 26 Weeks

Schedule: Full-time, On-site

Shift Options: 5 x 8 or 4 x 10, including Fridays

Pay rate:

Local: Weekly Gross: $5790.50 (paid weekly and eligible for health insurance)

Travel:  Weekly Gross: $5407 (2884.00 GSA Untaxed Stipends) (must qualify based of MLA guidelines)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant specializing in Surgical Oncology to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide expert care within our Urology Surgery department, primarily serving an adult and geriatric patient population with some older adolescents. The clinic operates in a fast-paced environment, renowned for its innovative research and world-class urology services.

Responsibilities:

Manage 8 – 10 patients per day, focusing on comprehensive care and treatment plans.

Collaborate with RNs and patient coordinators to streamline scheduling and administrative tasks.

Uphold high standards of patient care and safety in an ambulatory outpatient setting.

Utilize EPIC EMR system for accurate documentation and continuity of care.

Requirements:

PA, must have Masters in Physician Assistant Studies or Masters in Medical Science (as a part of a PA program).

DEA registration and AHA BLS certification.

Minimum 1 – 2 years of experience, preferably in surgical oncology, surgery, urology, or medical oncology.

New graduates with significant surgical oncology or urology nursing experience will also be considered.
