Physician Assistant –Addiction Management (PA)

A Physician Assistant –Addiction Management (PA) is needed in Barrington, RI.

This position is with a community-based, nonprofit organization that provides primary, behavioral, and dental healthcare to the residents of Rhode Island.

Salary and Benefits:

• The salary range is $115,000 - $120,000 based on experience
• Language Differential – 5% Additional Salary
• Medical Insurance (Starting at $64.69 for Employee / $312.25 for Family per Pay Period)

Responsibilities:

• Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• 32 Hours Clinical / 8 Hours Administrative
• Adult Population
• Collaborate with behavioral health therapists, peer recovery coaches, psychiatrists, nurses, community health workers, and family medicine physicians.
• Provide comprehensive primary care, including the management of legacy medications, utilizing cutting-edge, evidence-based, harm-reduction strategies and consensual deprescribing approaches.
• Appointments are 20-30 minutes each.
• EMR: NextGen

Requirements:

• Current And Active License in Rhode Island Required
• Physician Assistant (PA)
• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• 5 Years of Primary Care Experience with Specialized Training / Experience in Addiction or Pain Management Required
