Responsibilities

Ascension Sacred Heart Bay is looking for an experienced CV Surgery PA that is proficient in EVH.

This role will be a mix of clinic, surgical assist (vein harvesting) and hospital rounding. Experience in specialty/EVH is required for consideration.

• Tertiary care and regional heart center
• Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (Maquet Hemopro)
• Collegeal group with a range of experience
• Live and work on the beautiful Gulf Coast of FL

Responsibilities:

• Obtains patient history and performs assessment. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.
• Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditions.
• Provides counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
• Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Physician Assistant credentialed from the Florida Physician Assistants obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.

Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

1 year of experience preferred.
