PeaceHealth RiverBend Medical Center is seeking a General Surgeon to join an established multi-specialty surgery group.
RiverBend Medical Center located in Springfield, Oregon is a Level II Trauma center, we are the largest hospital between Portland, Oregon and Sacramento, California. We support a local population of 380,000 and a catchment area that includes the Oregon coast and rural southern Oregon.
Practice Highlights:
+ Surgery need in the community with access to both internal and community referrals
+ Blended General and Colorectal practice dedicated to Colorectal Surgeries.
+ Supportive Mentorship and collegial group of surgeons working together to better serve the community.
+ Surgical interest in the following: Rectal cancer, pelvic floor, perianal pathology and IBD surgery.
+ 5-day work week.
+ Call: 1:7, no acute care surgery call.
The communities of Eugene and Springfield Oregon are located at the southern end of the Willamette Valley. Come experience the wide array of restaurants, visit the fermentation district, and entertainment venues that make this community a true urban playground. Eugene boasts cultural amenities typical of larger cities, from the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art to the world-famous Oregon Bach Festival. Eugene is home to the University of Oregon Ducks! Historic Hayward field has hosted the Olympic Trials, NCAA Track & Field Championships, and the World Athletics Championships. The area offers outdoor produce markets, abundant parks, camping, hiking, wine tasting, and natural beauty. It truly is a place to experience and love!
