Pediatric Day Hospitalist opportunity:

• Board Certified or Eligible physicians only
• Visa accepted: Yes (J1 or H1)

• Setting: Inpatient with ED consults
• Position: Full time
• Schedule: 15 shifts/month at 12 hours shift
• Call: For your days you work (mostly phone)
• The unit will text or call (afternoon, evening and night shifts) for all newborn delivers, so you would be able to place all orders on newborns within 15-30 min. of birth and/or come back in you would also be called for NRP situation, preemie delivers, fetal distress and does all newborn intubations.
• Pediatric Hospitalist average daily census is 16 (pediatric and newborns, no LD or NICU coverage required)
• Daily hospital rounds, on call for neonatal resuscitation and high-risk deliveries request by OB (approx. daily avg census: 4-6.)
• Your day: Come in in the morning (6:00am/7:00am) and access all infants, they see patients, speak with parents regarding the newborn care, do circumcision and procedure notes as well ad and H&P, progress notes or discharges. Then round to the inpatients.
• Once you have completed all task, you can go home.
• Looking to add 2 Full time Pediatric hospitalist to the group.
