Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, located in Philadelphia, PA, is now accepting applications for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Dermatology as a pediatric dermatologist. Applicants must have M.D. degree or equivalent and be board certified or eligible in the field of Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology.
Applicants should have qualifications to meet junior faculty rank; senior applicants with prior academic or clinical experience will also be considered.
A high degree of interest in academic practice and the teaching of residents and fellows is essential. Responsibilities will include ambulatory pediatric and some general dermatology, hospital consultations, administration of the division, and teaching.
The Department of Dermatology is a growing dynamic practice that provides a wide array of services including general dermatology, Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatopathology, and cosmetics. The Department also has specialized programs for the treatment of heritable disorders, psoriasis, cutaneous lymphoma, and hidradenitis suppurativa.
