Successful candidate will be a team player who is comfortable working with a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health professionals. Weekend Coverage Duties: Inpatient rounding on adult psychiatric unit (Saturday and Sunday) Consult/Liaison coverage on medical Floors (Saturday and Sunday) Treat patients with a wide range of psychiatric illnesses including geriatrics and addictions Telephonic call from 6pm to 8am EHR is Epic with psychiatric template notes available TigerConnect available for easy HIPPA compliant texting with other providers Strong support staff including Behavioral Health Techs, Nurses and Social Workers to assist on weekends Hospitalist available for consultation and management of medical problems and medical H&P Nighttime Telephonic Call Coverage Duties: 6pm to 8am Review potential ER admissions with psychiatric ER social worker Cover calls from inpatient unit Qualifications: MD or DO Board Certified/ Board Eligible Psychiatry US Citizen Rich cultural heritage Modern metropolitan living Top quality community We've got the perfect place for you and your family!
