Picker Packer 2nd And 3rd Shifts - Spherion

Spherion Staffing and Recruiting is hiring operators for our client in Montgomery, Alabama. Our client is a leading supplier in the automotive parts industry, and these positions are contract to career roles!

The Line Operator is responsible for packing, scanning and shipping product in an accurately and timely manner.

Our client is looking for individuals with a desire to work a career position and become a part of an amazing team.

Responsibilities:
Inspect totes for damage and trash Remove old labels from returning totes Scanning parts for inventory purposes Check for accurate labels on totes before placing on conveyor Scan and pack product into various totes and boxes Visually verify all product in the tote with part numbers on pick sheet and label Coordinate line side stock levels with Supervisor and forklift operators Re-fill label stock in label printers Maintain a safe working environment (5S Duties)

Working hours: Various Shifts Available

Skills:
Attention to Detail Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions Familiarity with shipping and handling practices

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attendance and reliability are a must.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Order Picking experience in a warehouse setting is required High School Diploma.
Ability to work OVERTIME as required.
Must be available to work between 3:00 pm and 11:30 pm for second shift .
Must be available to work between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am for third shift.
