As a part of the Global planning team, you will support the Supply Network planning and inventory optimization processes from Primary to Market Hubs. You will facilitate the balancing of demand with supply to offer the best product availability with optimal inventory levels. This incumbent supports Manufacturing Plants and regional connectivity. Focus will be on cost optimization and improved inventory visibility through the propagation of supply plans and replenishment strategy in the distribution network.
The Plan Analyst will:
- Support the strategic collaboration and operating model with regional partners.
- Monitor distribution center inventory optimization and improve inventory visibility.
- Participate in the global supply network planning replenishment planning strategy.
- Assist the supply closed loop process adaptability to enable supply communication through the translating the information between the demand and supply.
- Assist the improvement of supply reliability and customer service via exception management process.
- Partner with Regional Planning/Marketing Team and other business partners on WW allocation plan in case of major base business supply constraints.
- Partner with Product Management/NPI Planning and other business partners on new item launches.
- Monitor performance metrics (Backorders, OTIF, Sets deployment, Inventory targets, Order Management, etc.).
- Support Process Improvement initiatives and SOP and Work Instructions adaptability.
- Support the monthly Demand & Supply Reconciliation S&OP forums.
- Assist inventory entitlement management and excess & obsolete inventory cleanup.
- Interact with colleagues within the organization by using effective communication and presentation skills.
- Build positive relationships, considering varied perspectives & different styles.
- Has an interest in global Supply Chains and the Medical Devices industry, systems and tools & how to master them.
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's and/or equivalent University Degree required
Required:
- Relevant professional work experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- APICS, Green Belt, or PMP Certification
- Experience with advanced planning tools (OMP, Kinaxis, or APO)
- Understanding of ERP systems (JDE, SAP, or APO)
- Work experience in Demand, Supply, and/or Inventory Planning
- Experience with Alteryx, PowerBi and/or Tableau
