Job Summary:
- Supervise the Maintenance, Facilities and Wastewater Treatment Operator teams to ensure that all work activities are performed efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory, quality and safety standards.
- Supervise the Maintenance, Facilities and Wastewater Treatment Operator teams and associated budgets to ensure that all work activities are performed efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory, quality and safety standards.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies and procedures to minimize equipment downtime and operational disruptions.
- Maintain and enhance the facility Work Order system to ensure required work is effectively prioritized and completed.
- Provide technical support (including breakdown maintenance) as needed to ensure continued operation of process and support equipment.
- Obtain and maintain a Wastewater Treatment Operator license and provide technical support to the facility's Wastewater Treatment Plant operation.
- Establish and maintain third-party service provider contracts, including contractor management and contractor on-site support.
- Set up and facilitate a predictive and preventive maintenance program for process and facility equipment.
- Maintain the spare parts inventory to minimize process and production downtime due to equipment failure.
- Maintain an equipment asset inventory for the facility, including the identification of critical equipment.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to optimize maintenance and process operations.
- Decision-making skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs
- A Massachusetts Wastewater treatment license, or the ability to obtain a license
- Computer skills to include Microsoft office suite and preventative maintenance platforms
- Ability to work in a matrixed cross-functional environment. Ability to influence others
- Minimum 4 year/Bachelor Degree
- Mechanical, electrical, chemical, or industrial engineering degree or related degree.
- Minimum 5 years experience supervising maintenance staff in an industrial facility.
