Plumber for Residential Service & Remodelling - Advanced Plumbing Systems LLC
La Crosse, WI
About the Job
Here's a Day in the Life of a Service Plumber at our Company
Yes, the boss really does share memes. A lot. (So you've got to get used to the humour around here!) That's how we start off the day.
We also vote on who made the biggest positive impact on a customer each day.
We have training - every day. We are always looking to see what went right, and what we can do better from the previous day to sharpen our customer service skills. And we are always honing and learning new technical skills.
Expect to run 2 or 3 calls per day. We give you as much time as you need to properly diagnose and fix the ROOT issue.
You'll be doing everything from faucets, to remodels, to water/sewer services, to wells and septic's, and everything in between! Every day is different, and there's always something exciting!
You might not think of a service plumber as being a counsellor, but sometimes that's needed too. We are serving our customers when they might be in a vulnerable state of mind depending on what mess they are dealing with!
And if you get done early, you'll check in with the rest of the team to see who needs help.
How To Succeed Here
If you work efficiently and effectively, control material costs, and avoid call-backs, the sky is the limit for how you can grow here.
We have a PROVEN process that gives our customers the best experience each and every time. The only way you'll fail is if you won't follow it.
Sometimes the scope of work changes, customers change their minds, etc. but our attitudes don't. There are no bad jobs or bad customers; there are only bad attitudes.
Attitude Equals Altitude - a positive attitude will help you be a rock star here!
