What you’ll do:
The Policy and Procedure Writer will create and maintain policies and procedures for all departments which impact various functions in accordance with standards, guidelines, and operational processes.
Collaborate with management and SMEs to develop and maintain a comprehensive policy and procedure manual for functions performed across various business lines
Continually and proactively research and gather information to improve current policies and procedures and leverage best practices to transform “what” we do and “how” we do it
Interface with corporate operational teams to support branch operations as needed
Establish and maintain strong partnerships across all disciplines to drive collaborative approach
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Associate's Degree (preferably in Writing, English, Communication, or related field)
3+ years technical writing experience required, preferably focusing on compliance and regulatory policies
Minimum 3 years of recent banking experience required
Proven ability to manage and coordinate the activities of multiple groups across multiple departments; understands the importance of complying with all department, bank, and regulatory policies
Intermediate computer skills
Ability to travel to various Wintrust locations as needed
