M-F 7:30am-4pm. Working at their Franklin, WI location. $13.75hr
Summary:
The Policy Registrar is responsible for accurate and neat assembly of policy contracts, accountable for enclosing forms, appropriate notices, and/or brochures as required by the state regulations.
Policy registrars inspect, assemble and mail all newly-issued policies, as well as unreported change and/or correction policies, or specific policy pages; in addition, you will handle final action correspondence, such as amendments, by including them in the policy contract mailing or referring them to the underwriter.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Registering New Issues and Unreported Changes/Corrections (90%):
The Registrar is accountable for accurate and neat assembly of policy contracts, enclosing forms specified on the Memo to Registrar sheet, notices and/or brochures required by the state regulations.
Sort and match output for each policy number; i.e. specification pages and DMS output (applications).
Review computer output, to ensure the specification pages are received.
Compare key information on the policy specification pages against the original application papers, verifying completeness and accuracy.
Ensure that the necessary copies are present and that Field delivery/reporting requirements are attached along with copies of any case correspondence.
Refer errors that are detected to the appropriate underwriter, PASS team or Post Approval Analyst for correction via E-Referrals.
Include any forms which are indicated on the Memo to Registrar, or brochures that are noted on the Record at Issue Page.
Document in Workbench any Fed Express or delays in mailing
Miscellaneous Duties (10%):
Other miscellaneous duties may include follow-up on: unmatched specification pages, unclaimed correspondence and amendments
Other related miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Requirement of minimum 1 year experience with Policy assembly or inspection or related experience.
Ability to handle fast-paced high volume work on a rigid schedule with high degree of accuracy.
Ability to prioritize work and use good judgment and follow through in completing assignments.
Demonstrated keyboarding skills required.
Ability to handle confidential data in a manner consistent with privacy laws and regulations.
Detail oriented, proven experience working in high quality control/inspection. Basic PC skills, outlook, excel, share point, slack, zoom.
