Position Overview:
Porsche Riverside is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers in the service lane, ensuring an exceptional service experience. You will handle everything from greeting vehicle owners and explaining repair processes to managing technician schedules and inventory needs.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the flow of the Drive Lane, ensuring prompt, courteous, and effective service for all customers.
- Advises customers about necessary service for routine maintenance.
- Explains the work performed and the repair order charges to the customer.
- Checks on progress of repair throughout the day. Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
- Take ownership of the customer experience, handling additional tasks to leave a positive impression.
- Ensure daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently utilized for service customers.
- Efficiently distribute work among technicians.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
Requirements:
- Organized and friendly personality with strong time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional, well-groomed appearance.
- Clean driving record.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Previous service advisor experience required; CDK experience preferred.
