Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
The Powder Coat Painter applies powder coat paint to products using a manual spray gun and automated coating system, maintaining required paint thickness and ensuring high quality finishes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coating manufactured parts consistent with powder coat paint to customer and internal quality requirements
- Inspecting material from fabrication shop
- Operating all coating equipment including: manual spray guns, hoppers, and booth collection systems
- Using the paint line efficiently with minimal stoppages and gaps
- Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of1 year of related experience
- Knowledge of powder paint characteristics and application, the operation and repair of painting equipment, and material preparation
- Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Team orientation
