Power - Substation Technician - City of Idaho Falls

The City of Idaho Falls is currently accepting applications for a Substation Technician or Substation Technician Apprentice with Idaho Falls Power.  This full-time position performs a variety of journeyman level skilled duties related to installations, maintenance, operation and repair of substation.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED 

Works under the general supervision of the Substation Foreman.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED

None. May in the absence of the Substation Foreman, direct line crews, apprentices, and/or contractors in substations.

Rate of pay depends upon experience and journeyman/apprenticeship status. Substation Technician Apprentice salary range will be $40.32  to $49.49 depending upon qualifications, and the Substation Technician salary range will be $49.43 to $60.66 depending upon qualifications.
