About the Job
Power Transmission Business Development Account Manager Duties:
• Drive the development and promotion of the HGA Power Transmission engineering business by proactively identifying and pursuing business opportunities in Power Transmission including:
• Combustion Turbine, Reciprocating Engine, and Renewable Energy projects including solar, green hydrogen, ammonia and energy storage projects.
• Transmission, Distribution, Substation, Land Acquisition and Field Service projects.
• Identify opportunities for additional product offerings, collaborate with management to assess and vet potential suppliers, and establish strong partnerships to enhance our product portfolio.
• Achieve new and add-on business with existing clients by developing and enhancing key client relationships and serving as one of the primary company contacts.
• Provide leadership in the development of client relationships, capture planning, strategy, pursuit and proposal activities.
• Participate in project scoping and costing and proposal preparation, interviews, and negotiations to the extent required.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years’ experience in the Power Generation industry in Business Development, Engineering, or Project Management capacities required.
• Strong client network within the Utilities Sector including Power Gen, Battery Storage, Solar and other Alternate Energy solutions.
• Prior experience working with utilities or engineering consulting services firms required
• Must be located in Ruston, LA or Baton Rouge, LA or The Woodlands, TX or Dallas, TX or Tulsa, OK.
