Key Responsibilities:
Simon Eye, Center for Advanced Eye Care and Eye Associates of Bucks County are partner practices with a combined 34 Optometrists, 8 Ophthalmologists, and 150 staff serving the state of Delaware and Delaware County and Bucks County, PA. We are aligned to ensure our communities can access patient-centered, medically oriented full service eyecare delivered in convenient locations with friendly, knowledgeable doctors and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on leadership, coaching, and management of staff including patient service representatives, front desk receptionists, technicians, and surgery coordinators to build a top performing team.
- Liaise with providers to set clinical standards and work in collaboration to uphold and improve.
- Be knowledgeable in all roles with the ability to cover or scale any department or area and to clear bottlenecks and resolve patient backlogs.
- Execute the checklists for your office to maintain clinical and patient care guidelines and to ensure smooth, efficient patient flow.
- Collaborate with Billing and other central services to continuously improve processes throughout the organization and to ensure collections goals are achieved.
- Be a Service Ambassador by demonstrating all attributes of our Standards of Care and by providing effective feedback and coaching to staff so that we continue to improve each day.
- Implement systems improvements throughout the office to help the company scale.
- Review patient surveys and feedback, taking action to repair deficiencies and strengthening and validating the team with positive trends.
- Hold regular team meetings to keep doctors and staff engaged with the practice mission and working collectively.
- Assist providers to maintain relationships with referral sources and local healthcare providers.
- Strong Communication Skills – Possess strong leadership and communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with everyone who passes through the office (doctors, clinical and administrative staff, patients, external vendors, etc.).
- Behavioral Characteristics – Must be even-tempered, approachable, and have excellent people skills to keep staff motivated and working efficiently.
- Conflict Resolutions Skills – Should be able to quickly address, mediate, and resolve conflicts during high-stress situations.
- Multi-Tasking Ability and Detail-Oriented – Possess an eye for detail and capable of streamlining routine office processes, knowing when and how to delegate tasks when needed.
- People Management Skills - Ability to motivate a team to be successful. Should be able to identify root cause of performance issues and communicate specific feedback to help people grow and succeed.
- Problem Solving Skills – Must demonstrate a systematic approach to problem solving for all types of issues. Competence with identifying process improvement opportunities and then helping to implement them.
- BA/BS Degree in business management, a related discipline or equivalent experience
- Comprehensive experience managing and influencing teams preferably from a growth organization
- Demonstrated skills in problem solving, time management and adaptable to a changing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement
- Confident with EHR systems
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word
