Our healthcare client is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead and manage a medical office. This pivotal role involves overseeing operational functions, managing staff, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Location: New York, NY
Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000/year
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities as the Practice Manager:
- Main Contact and Support: Serve as the primary contact for staff, patients, and vendors, fostering positive relationships.
- Staff Management: Oversee hiring, staff development, and performance management in collaboration with HR and administration.
- Operational Efficiency: Guide staff and prioritize patient needs to ensure smooth office operations.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure staff adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Coaching and Feedback: Provide coaching and feedback to staff, suggesting creative solutions when needed.
- Performance Improvement: Implement processes and action plans to enhance performance, customer satisfaction, and productivity.
- Reporting: Generate monthly and quarterly reports on productivity, service, and metrics.
- Administrative Duties: Manage scheduling, onboarding, and other clerical tasks.
- Risk and Growth Management: Identify risks and growth opportunities, consulting with relevant departments on regulatory matters.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management/Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in a related position, with knowledge of NY Workers Compensation Policies and experience in No Fault and Liens.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Other: Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
